My name is Martin Dix. I'm 27 (soon to be 28), single, and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. I currently work for H&R Block as a District Tech Support Specialist and as a Tax School Instructor (what this has to do with Sociology is anyone's guess). I'm pretty much broke now but I'm glad I bought my '00 SE. It has been a great car! I live in Pelham, NC but was born and raised in Danville, VA (a scant five miles away).
My previous cars have been a 1968 Mustang 390 Fastback, a 1971 Ford Torino Cobra, 1983 Mustang GLX convertible, and a 1995 Dodge Intrepid (still don't know why I bought that one).

More than you wanted to know about me: I am 27, I recently relocated from Salem MA (my hometown) to Cranston, RI...I work for Citizens Bank as a Senior eCommerce Engineer. (For fellow geeks: I work on NT using all the MS back end stuff, doing a lot of data security, analysis/development, project mgmt, etc.) I must give credit due to Tristen Fletcher (fellow SVT owner/CEG guy) and his training program at Boston Univ. for making me such a nerd. When I am not working, sleeping, or washing my SVT I enjoy working out, running, hiking, etc. and fishing in my '86 Grady-White (25' Sailfish w/Twin Yamaha 200s) - and you think cars are a money-pit! I am single because I own a nice car and a boat and I have no plans to part with them. My 1 to 2 year car plan: I'm fixin' for an S4 or possibly a 'pre-owned' 540i. I'm also thinking of upgrading in the boat department, so I'll have to choose boat vs. car. As you can see I will be single for a long time. I did hear that there will be a turbo'd PT Cruiser soon...maybe that is the ticket for me, provided I can get the boost up so it will run 13's Note that there is no mention of Ford in my future because my SVT tells me that Quality is job #0. If I own another Ford it will most likely be older than I am and wearing an antique plate. Let me end my rant by saying that the best thing of being an SVT owner is being able to talk to fellow gearheads like you all. Well that and running through 4th gear to redline Andrew ------- 99 SVT black/tan - 15.4@91 k/n filter + mutilated factory air box removed resonator A6 side markers painted calipers shaved trunk lock + filled 1/4 panel seams tinted windows red under-dash light bulbs (sets the mood when trying to get some ass) ding in door (the 1st one, hurts the most) (ok I'll shut up now)

My name is James Cozart, iam 23, and from Las Vegas,NV. Iam married with a 5 month old daughter. I work as an estimator at a body shop. As of this posting i have owned my 2000 Contour SE V6 for less than 24 hours. It is Tropic Green with a Greystone interior. I bought the car for my wife as my Daily Driver is a tricked out '95 GMC Sonoma V6. I also have a 1981 Z28 Camaro that i am trying to get running as my Street/Strip terror. That brings me to my current problem, which vehicle to mod first!

People always email and ask what the 80 is in my user name. It has nothing to do with the car. It is my jr. high/high school/college football jersey number.
