good find! they want $10 for shipping so it's right around the same price as that on the GB. either one would be good. first thing i did when checking current pricing on them was go to SPMotorsports. man what a rip!

after seeing them tonight i've decided you DEFINITELY need the foul weather fogs. the superwhites aren't gonna do ya much good. go for the is300 look. either way you're asking for more trouble from the po-po. wink

It has been shown that the dichroic yellow bulbs do not work any better than a standard 'white' bulb in cutting through fog, so I'd say if you think it looks cool then go for it. But don't spend extra money on them because they work better.

Bzzzt, wrong answer!

Selective-yellow light can improve fog lamp performance, because it is lacking in the high frequency/short wavelength blue light that reflects readily off atmospheric moisture (frozen or not) and into your eyes.

Steve is right, the reason fog lights have traditionally been yellow is that yellow light has a longer wavelength and thus, in theory at least, weaves through fog better (red lights would be even better because of red's even longer wavelength, but would obviously cause problems as front lights). Really, I think this is an area where theory is nice, but the practical gains are minimal. So get whatever color you want. But, being an old person who once had yellow Hellas on my '77 BMW, I take offense at the WalMart reference. I got mine from a high-end foreign car parts store some distance from my trailer park.

Holy cow! What makes these things so expensive.
How are they different than regular foglamps?

They are foglights and most factory ones are, as someone on here put it, glorified cornering lamps. Once you have used PIAAs under the conditions they are designed for, you'll never want anything else.
