I have them on my car and you need to have them welded on with the car in a RAMP type lift.
The reason?
If you weld them on while your car is liftes by jack points, you going tobe welding you car's body to that felx position!!!!!! Making alightments almost impossible!
Lucky for me, I right within an hour drive to the Sho-Shop and had them installed.
My advice.... try finding a shop that has an alightment machine, (thats the ramp jack you need) so you can have you car's weight supported by the wheels, NOT by the frame.
But with all said I can really tell the diffrence in it. Love the turns even more now
