I went with my father-in-law, who owns a XC70 Wagon.

The events involved a "safety" course where they tell you to drive the car as hard as you can around the course without hitting any cones or plastic deer. i tried to run it with the DTSC off, but they dissabled the button, so it was always on. But we got to try both AWD and FWD S60s and the S80.

The next event was a "Winter in Sweden" course where they simulated an icy road with a rubber tarp and water spray. Again, DTSC did a good job of controlling the car. THe rest of the couse was watered down pavement. S60 and S80s were used here too.

The last event was the "Hot Summer" race course with the BTCC car and 2 S60 T5 5-speed Sedans. Professional drivers took us around this small course and did powerslides and stuff. It was neat.

An interesting note: Most Volvos are sold with Continental tires. (At least, all of the show room cars were.) But the event was sponsored by Pirrelli and all of the tires on all of the cars were either Pirrelli P5000 or P6000 depending whether the car was AWD or FWD.
