Hello! Just thought I'd finally post these pics from the Volvo event I went to last month. It was a very fun experience, although not quite as good as the BMW one a couple years ago. The driving cars were the S60 and S80. And the showcase car was the XC90.
They did a good job of trying to convince everyone that a Volvo S60 T5 is faster than a BMW 3 series, but using the 325i as the "control." The S60 accelerated faster and stopped better than the 325i. But I think a 330 would have made minced meat of the Swede.
Another fun thing was the S60 BTCC race car which was available for rides for 9 lucky winners (I was not one of them). But watching it was a blast.

The new XC90 SUV. Not a bad looking car. A bit smaller than a BMW X5 and much cheaper than anything from Mercedes.

The inside of the S80 Anniversary Edition. A VERY NICE car for $42k. Too big for me, but a lot of luxury and power for a car that price. DVD/TV and twin rear screens are standard on the Anniversary model.
