Nascar has a ducting system in the front grill, that leads air to the front brakes. That is why they all try to avoid hitting anything with the front.. You do, and the ducting doesn't work, and your brakes heat up, and you have to pit more often.
You would think, that on something like that, the drag would be HUGE.. How is it working, then? They aren't leading any cooler air to the engine, so theorhetically the HP isn't affect positively. However the drag is increasing so the HP IS affected negatively.. SO.... isn't the HP going to be less than any indy car without that setup? How do they compete, then?
