I have the red one on this pic in my car. T-Red w/ tan interior. They don't make this model with reverse lockout ability. You have to cut your shifter down about 1/2" and remove the reverse lockout to make it seem normal. Both were very easy to do!

Picture does not do the knob justice. It is anodized red. More shiny.

Your choices are limited due to the reverse lock out feature. Team VooDoo Shift Knobs are available thru Age & Treachery Racing (or at least they used to be). I have the VooDoo knob in smooth black, and am not too impressed. The grip is super hot in the summer and ice cold in the winter. The finish is very delicate and scratches easily too. KKM also sells Momo shift knobs which has the reverse lock out feature, but at a pretty hefty price. These two are the only ones that I know of that will work with the reverse lock out.
Hope this helps.

An idea you might want to check into is getting the MTX knob from the 2001 Cougar. This is kinda like the one on our car but has a "metalic-like" plate on the top with the shift pattern stamped into from the bottom. Call Bill Jenkins to get the best price/service 1-800-282-2290. As far as a pic goes, I'd go over to the Cougar website and/or go to you local Mercury dealership and check it out in person wink Personally I have the VooDoo knob and love it and even had it poweder coated white to match my gauges and BNoon white faced HVAC cool

I have this knob...it looks awesome with my B&M shifter. It is a teeny bit taller than the SVT one, so if you are a freak about raising your shifter length by .2" then beware.

I can't figure out if that top piece is aluminum or just hard plastic...I guess I'll find out soon enough when it starts to wear.
