Just would like to see what everyone here thinks is the worst name a manufacturer ever gave an automobile. This should be pretty entertaining. I'll go first and say.............jeez, I guess Probe is the worst. Although in 48 Dodge had a Luxury Liner. That's pretty stupid, too. Or maybe the Pontiac Parisienne. What's THAT all about? I'm expecting a million posts, so let's start picking on some cars.

Probe,Laser,Focus,Echo, Accord etc. If you thinkg about alot of car names have nothing to with the car. At least the CONTOUR is contoured.

LOL!!! laugh my parents had one of those. it was grey with the 305 V8. big sunroof. it was the "Brougham" edition. what a f*cking nice car that was. and HUGE!

hmmm....dumbest name would have to be the Merkur XR4Ti. sure, they were nice cars and very misunderstood, but the string of letters was way too long. they should have just called it an Escort GTS or something.

Contour is a pretty dumb name too. there's no "spice" to it. Mondeo would have been much better.

Lincoln had a "Turnpike Cruiser" way back when... now that's pretty bad!
This car had these really funky astro air vents mounted near the top of the wrap around windsheild that made it look like it had rockets on the roof line. The name was only as bad as the car looked.

Ford "Fairmont" ranks pretty bad too.

What with Ford anyway... they come up with some real winners!

the new Lambo is muth-e-ah-lay-go. Means something along the lines of fast horse, I think, something kinda cool.
It was one the website for awhile, but I can't find it now. The pronunciation, I mean.

What about the Golf City?
The Chevy Corsica, sprint, prizm, geo
The Mangusta. Basically a Mustang, but different. Italian if memory serves.

I have a dream, and that is a 69 Boss 302 with Jules Asner in it.
Current - 2002 Chevy Silverado
Former - 98 SVT E0 T-Red 4/4/97 #173 of 6535(so long girl, you'll be missed)
