here is my excuse list

1. No stereo, so I wasnt motivated to race
2. 92 octaine I was pingin like a mother.
3. check engine on o2 sensor which controls s-afc
4. 3 cel's (o2 sensor, lean bank1, lean bank2)
5. limp mode due to cel's
6. bad first gear (although has nothing to do with our race, but good excuse anyways )

although you had more weight in the car aka the dog

and even though you would have won anyways I just want to make excuses of why it wasnt as close as it should have been. have you found out the 1/4 time on that car mid 13's?

I have no idea about that ca'r 1/4 times. Guys with less mods break into the 13's. It's hard to drive though and I'm far from being used to it.. I'd say with me at the wheel it's probably a mid 14 second car... It's never been to the track though, hopefully I'll take it there this summer..

Maybe when your buddies are coming up to Napierville, we could run there?? I'd love to see your times too.. Actually, trap speed matters more to me. The GTI should trap damn close to 100mph. :p

Dont know if you remember him or not but aric the guy with the eclipse or mother with the s2000 he finally got his car running after the turbo install. took it up last friday to naperville and ran some awesome times. He has it at 10lbs boost with stock injectors and pulled his best trap time at 112mph !!!!! and his best 1/4 time of 13.5 and thats only at 10lbs! he is going to be a daily driver at 16lbs and a track car at 20lbs! can you imagine the traps and 1/4 then! anyways we will make a meet of it.
