I'm curious how you guys with SVT's have stopped rock chips from occuring on doors...I'm thinking about getting some Helicopter tape and using that on the lower portion of the door. I would get mudflaps, but can't even find generic onest that will do the job.

Try to find the # for Bill Jenkins, he will get you a good price for them. Just mention that you are a CEGer.

Well my SE looks like I took it on a WRC circuit. My guess from my dad driving through construction on the freeway.
But I've noticed the salt just nails off the doors all the time lately...
Poor design if you ask me, Ray

Poor design if you ask me, Ray Yeah, a lot of cars have this problem though. Older SE-R's have the same issue, along with dodge omnis. The price you pay for having bigger tires and good lines to a car. It is just really upsetting when you have a car with only 5000 miles and it is already getting peppered on the doors.

Well on my 95 SE, the lower portion of the doors and rocker panels have a thicker layer of clearcoat that prevents that from happening....does your CSVT have this?
