I have a '98 and the paint is a little thicker on the lower panels but I still have a couple nicks that have gone all the way through. frown

Repainting or touch-up before adding any proctectant would be a good idea as well.

There is a thick vinyl type tape that 3M makes for hoods, bumpers, and doors. I know a supplier that supplies this material to only automotive companies. So, if I could get ahold of this material, how many of you would be interested in purchasing some?

The application would be similiar to applying tint on windows.
