Drumnut's got it, I'm a Water Patrol officer\Deputy DNR warden.

Waupaca's in the middle of the state, we have the largest Chain of Lakes south of Minocqua. Not suprised you haven't heard of Waupaca though, it's only around 6,000 people, but grows to around 30,000 prople in the summertime. The Chain 'O Lakes is beautiful, but there is alot of money there, the smallest lot with a cabin starts at $350,000 and taxes are around $10,000 a year! But everyone can enjoy it with alot of public access and places to beach. The water is pretty much drinkable if you wanted too, hard to come by clean, clear lakes nowadays.
