yea, was gonna say what tred said...blue angels run their c-130 with the rocket assisted takeoff..only assistance the USAF ones get are less weight...or clean installed turbo props  ..which has me thinking...i wonder what NOS would do to a turbo prop...

the last pic is of a c-130 hercules (i think its the gunship model). My dad flew these for 36 years. he just retired. nice planes

That is an AC-130! Awesome! My Buddy just ended his training and is on duty flying SH-64 in the Navy. He first trained on a T-36 Charlie. Then got helos.
