My Sister is turning 16 in August so we started looking for a car early. A lady my Dad works with had just upgraded to a brand new Civic and the dealership wasn't going to her her jack schitt for her 1991 Accord. My Dad found out she was wanting to sell her old Accord so we went and took a look and drive.
Needless to say (otherwise why would I be making this post) at $2500 it was too good to pass up. It is a 1991 Accord LX 4-door. 101k on the clock, auto, cold AC, Power windows, locks, brakes, steering. Interior is immaculate for being 11-12 years old, a few small stains on the carpets, but it is a used car. Has one medium sized rust spot, and one small spot on the drivers side at the tips of the wheels arches, typical for Hondas of this era. Needs new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. We're the 3rd owner and have receipts dating back to the 2nd owner, hell it even has the original window sticker!
My Dad filled the passanger side CV joint up with grease, whoever replaced it last forgot to put the the outer band on the boot and it was knocking a bit on sharp turns. This will work till it gets worse at which point we'll have to replace the whole axle, but at $60 + core, thats cheap.
These pics are after a wash, I need to give it the full Zaino treatment, clay and all! That can be her b-day present!

Maybe I'll spring for a nice set of Target hub-caps too, since I am a nice brother.
Its actually in the body shop already getting the rust spots fixed, a few major knicks touched up and the pin-stripe removed. Tint the windows and bring on the ricer products! She has already questioned me about "Altezza" ( I corrected her from "Euro" style) style lights, blue headlights and, help me God, LED washer nozels.
