Maybe he is talking about the fact with less weight it makes it harder to get traction with the more powerfull cars, but still that statment. He just does not understand what handling is.[/b]
If he's referring to snow/ice, he is dead on. My old Taurus handles 10x better than my Contour does in the snow.

Anyway, about the design...I don't like it. Another poor attempt by Ford to mix the retro with the new stuff...like the T-Bird...they turned a classic car into a goofy lookin beast that looks like it belongs in who-knows-what year.
