I like the 2nd generation better than the 03's too. As far as the rims goes...didnt really have much of a choice regarding rims, besides rolling on 16" or 18"'s without an increase/decrease in price - of course I am going to choose the 18"!

Besides, thats the reason why EBAY exists!

Not really interested in Vettes - strictly foreign vehicles for now.

I'd say the '03 has the better engine though. I haven't driven the '03 Rover yet, but the X5 4.4 I have driven. Very nice ride...

Either way, nice find on a nice ride.

I have driven both vehicles. The X5 is NOT a highway vehicle! BMW needs to work out some suspension and comfort issues for highway drivers.
Very fast automobile indeed.

The new 03 Rovers are very nice, but I didnt notice much of a difference from the 99 Rovers other than location of controls and standard navigation system.
