Heh, sad but true. frown

This is an enthusiast board. People who "like it stock" can do us all a favor and hang out at their favourite Ford dealership.[/b]
Why you gotta be a hater? I loved my SVT stock. You could say, I was "enthusiastic" about it. If it wasn't for the engine going south, it might still be that way (and I'd have a lot more money right now).

If you walk up to my car now, the only things you could see that aren't stock (if you looked in the windows) are the shifter and the S-AFC. Car looks like a$$ on the outside, if I do say so myself. Not really much hint at what's actually going on (i.e. considerable mods).

You don't see me coming on and saying that slamming your car to the ground is ugly (which I could). So don't bash someone who likes it just the way it is.

All right, I guess the liquid in my glass is getting to me..

You know what I mean though. I'm no hater for people who keep their SVTs showroom stock. Heck, one of my best local CEG buddies has his car stock down to the dealership sticker on the trunk. I told him that's not my style but I'm not ragging on it.

Where I have a problem is when die-hard "stock" fanatics come ragging on a guy with crazy body mods that's proud to post them on an enthusiast site. I'm sure he has the service manager at his dealership ragging on him. I know mine is. That's plenty.

I don't think people have to mod to be cool, but I think they have to respect that this is an enthusiast site. If they want to rag on people that mod their cars, I'll give them the phone number to my dealership.

Makes any sense?

Like you said, your car looks stock from the outside. Engine mods galore though. Just a different direction, but I don't see anyone ragging on you for trying things with the engine. Don't you just love it when you have an F-body owner telling you it's stupid to mod your lame FWD Ford for power?

i agree its stupid how some people get ragged on because they do diffrent thing to their vehicles. and a contour its a one of a kind even a svt. so why not make it unique. one of a kind not some thing thats made thousands at a time like honda kits. i think its diffrent and diffrent is good. i cant wait to order a kit for my svt and some one else would want my old svt kit. what does that make them for changing the looks of there non svt iam all for diffrent even mods that include engines. so come on were all in to modifying. in some sort. :p
