It figures that the "old school" guys wouldn't like the use of G.T.O. but Ferrari used the name before Pontiac did. Also they went as far as to lie about the 64 GTO beating a Ferrari GTO in a Motor Trend magazine "shootout", yeah I'm sure that was some "shootout" alright. The GTO was modified by Royal Pontiac in Royal Oak MI and its a well known fact that they lied about it in the magazine. Jim Wrangler, afiliated with GM and I can't remember how right now, said as much on Speedvision during American muscle car. I pretty sure the "goat" had a 421 in it, along with other "go fast goodies" but there is now way in hell that car was going to beat a light weight V-12 Ferrari :rolleyes: The next G.T.O. is going to be bad ass and I hope they do a good job on it, unlike the last G.T.O. in 1974, can you say Nova
