It looks like a really nice ride , Brian . The red is really brill ! It's a shame you didn't get it a month earlier so it could make the SZ-02 trip . I guess the purchase of an SVT gets your BGT "back-burnered" for a while , HUH ?!?!

the GT is sort of on the back-burner for the summer. sad to say, but ineed to get the structural body work properly sorted before anything else.
and i just acquired a 1977 convertible too, which i may use as a parts car or try to rebuild it for Courtney. we'll have to wait and see!

i live in Ohio, they require them, however it doesnt really seem to be inforced. I havent beel pulled over for it yet. Say I do get pulled over, what is the best thing to say to the officer so I do not get a ticket for my ignorance. I haven't had the plate on my front ever since i got it back in '97. It didn't even have a bracket on it when I got it from FL. I think I've been stopped once, and I just explained to them that the car didn't come with a bracket, "but I am supposed to getting one from the dealer within the next week or whenever it arrives." And I always keep my front plate tucked in the back seat pocket, so I can pull it out for them to show that I even have it. Been stopped once in the Vette as well. Again, I pull out the plate, but tell them "I just got back from picking up the plate and I'm on my way to my garage/mom's/dad's/etc to put it on." But for the most part, unless they have a stick up their ass, they don't really say anything about it. I think just having it with you is enough probable cause for them to let you be.
I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby. There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there. You can make a small fortune in racing. Start with a large one. How fast do you want to go...how much money do you have? You can fix a lot of things, but you can't fix stupid!

It's not a magical camera; the car REALLY IS that shiny just off of the lot. Nobody could believe it, least of all him. Page 2

again. thanks for the compliments. whoring really does work!
seriously, i have been so psyched to have this car. with some very slight modifications, it will be absolutely perfect. and i can't believe how much faster it is then the GL. you guys with 3.0s and S/Cs are crazy. 200 HP is just fine with me.
