Maybe they think it makes it look like a carbon fiber hood. It fooled me in the picture, cause that's what I thought it was. I don't usually like stickers on cars, but I think the stickers on that neon were tastefully done (I'm going to assume he has the parts to back up the stickers).

I just don't understand the point of Huge Spoilers? I mean they are FWD cars, just doesn't make much sense IMHO! But I guess whatever floats your boat! Have to say I've seen worse

Even the sides of the spoiler on the neon are green. APC is not something someone should be boasting about. I like rac02699's comment; "that nonpainted fiber glass hood offsets the weight or there fata$$ girlfriends". That dood doesn't look like CF or Fiberglass to me. Even if it is, why save 17 lbs on a hood, but then add 100 lbs woth of body kit and spoiler? And the stickers do need to go, I'll bet you the driver of that Neon thinks he's fast, but nothing advertised is for a performance part.

both cars are alright IMO. Just lose the 747 wings for something less complex. From the rear they are both fine. Neon looked fine until i checked out the interior lime green along with the brakes. I guess NEON ski jackets are coming back in this next winter.

JCBOECKL, Not that I am defending these cars or anything, but a wing could have some benefit, if either of those cars had any power. When was the last time you hit 140+ in your car? If you haven't, let me assure you; The back end of our cars feels like it is trying to come up off the ground. It is just a little unnerving. -Not that either of those cars could hit 140+.

Our FWD I4 and V6s don't have any need for whale tails. The whole goal of modding our cars (for speed) is to reduce weight. That wing is 100 lbs. of BS, and it's not even over the drive wheels. On the other hand, the Neon wing isn't so bad (sans the putrid green highlights). I might actually put that on my car. The Civic is just tasteless. Haven't we seen the hideous Civic in a previous post? Now it has an equally repulsive counterpart in the poor Neon. Why God do people paint green and yellow crap all over thier otherwise decent looking cars? And what's with the DASH?! LOL

Ooh! I wish I had done my interior neon green instead of black/gray.
