My parents' Buick, has the low oil, coolant, washer fluid, but no tire pressure. The oil guage has stopped reading accurately (it use to read way too high), but now it's reading low...I freaked out when the low oil light started flashing.

Sometimes I don't even look at the gas guage, which is why the light is on. Or it would serve as a reminder to get gas.

i don't know if all contours have low fuel light but my svt does. comes on when u have 2 gallons left.

I have a low fuel light on mine. Never gets down there though. Why would you want one anyway? I sure hope that is the one thing you pay attention to. Car+Gas=Car runs or Car+no gas=Car no run.

Got fuel? My 97' has one... Book says it will come on w/ 3 gal. remaining. It's in the strip just below the gas gauge, as well as that stupid low coolant light!

Well based on some of your replies, perhaps a small light should be in some of your cars that just blinks 'ASSCLOWN'. Oh wait, that would be on all the time. :rolleyes:

Well I tested the light today to see where it comes in relationship to my fuel guage ... For me it was a little above the E mark (almost a needles width from touching it).. Took almost 11.8 gallons to fill up so that should have left 3 gallons in the tank .. So know I know for a fact when I need to fill up by the guage before the light comes on when I'm on a long trip.
