Good Morning,
I am inquiring to find out if anyone has taken high-resolution pictures of their Green 1999 or 2000 SVT Contour, and could point me in the direction where I could view them.
We're updating our photo archives, and the only images we have are Silver and Red. Since the 98, 99 and 00 are all similar, I'm trying to get different colors for each year to use in our photo archives.
If anyone has pictures, please reply here and let me know. Please understand that we cannot compensate anyone for this, and any photos sent to me become the property of Edmunds.com to use, resize, crop, alter, or change as required.
The photos would have to represent the car in stock form, and the following angles would be needed: FQ (front-qtr), RQ (rear-quarter), Interior, Side shot, Front and Rear, wheel, and engine.
Thanks,
Matt Landish Photo Editor Edmunds.com

how large do you consider high resolution? I can see what I have of my car in stock condition when I get home.
Also, the name of the color is actually "Tropic Green"
It's all about balance.

The SVT doesn't need any good words put in for it. It's a fine automobile.
However, I have to be honest, we're salivating a little more for the 2003 SVT Cobra with 390hp/390tq.

-Matt I'll take that as a compliment . . .

I was thinking 300dpi or above. I have to reduce the images to 72dpi, for space and load time constraints, so I always like a little room for slack. 1024x768 image size is fine, bigger is better.

PS- thanks for the correction on the color. lots of greens out there!

unfortunately, the digital camera I had back when I got my car only takes 640x480 shots and now my car has an aftermarket exhaust, and some little changes to the outside that aren't stock. Sorry I can't help.

Thanks anyway Rara, I appreciate it. Ford's Media Website has almost nothing on the Contour anymore. Maybe we have some slides around here somewhere...because I almost never see an SVT 'Tour that hasn't been modded in some way!

There's a few other members with Tropic Green SVTs that are stock..
One of them (Slim Shady) is from the NY/NJ area, I'm sure he can get you some pictures. Let me see if I can get a hold of him... Check back on this thread a little later!
