OC = optical carrier meaning fiber optics. 3= meaning ds level three equal to three t-1's 1.544MB each. Divided among 20 people you would still get around 650k download. Hope that clears thing up. Numbers might be off a little bit kinda getting rusty.

An OC3 is capable of 155 Mbps, much more than 3 times a T1 :p .

back to the topic at hand (fast ferraris not geeky transmission times) I checked out the requirements for the Gumball 3000 USA. As everyone knows, its a 3000 mile rally across the US. Takes about 5 days, with five star accomodations, lush parties, and everything provided for except lunch, the car, and gas.

The entry fee is 6,000 lbs brit sterling, or about $9000 US Dollars. Not for the slim of wallet, but hey, if you have a ferrari F50, whats another 9k to have a blowout roadtrip with other extremely wealthy gearheads?
