As for mods, I'm probably going to put the car on a strict diet, tearing out ALL the dead weight. Looking at a 75 or a 100 shot NOS, with the appropriate fuel system upgrades. I believe all I need are larger injectors, since it already has an upgraded ignition (Crane Cams Fireball & Coil), high pressure oil pump, and a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Head was recently rebuilt and new piston rings are being installed right now along with a balanced crank. Osigma, I will be in touch shortly. Thanks for the support, guys. Can't wait to post the AFTER PICS!!! Oh, and Bad Apple, putting a GM Small block into a Z is distasteful and redneckish. Suggesting it on a FORD Forum is sacrilegious! Stuff for these cars costs about half what they do for Contours. Going to tub it out and use it as a daily driver/ SOLO 1 & SOLO 2 car. I can't afford to put a lot of money into two cars. I still owe 3k+ on the turbo for the 'tour.
