That vette in the vid is not a 9 sec car (you may be mistaking it with the C5 in the motortrend clip on Speed Channel). Im guessing its probably an 11 second car.
McLaren F1's can do the 1/4 as low as 10.7 with a hard launch. I doubt that vette can touch that kind of speed, although it is VERY impressive.
