that vette is around 9s 1/4 mile That vette in the vid is not a 9 sec car (you may be mistaking it with the C5 in the motortrend clip on Speed Channel). Im guessing its probably an 11 second car. McLaren F1's can do the 1/4 as low as 10.7 with a hard launch. I doubt that vette can touch that kind of speed, although it is VERY impressive.

Mclaren would be owned, maybe not by the Vette in that Video, but the TT 427 Z06 would destroy it :p . 9 seconds vs 11 in the 1/4 is a huge difference, I'd still take a McLaren over it though with its measly 627 hp  .

Bang for the buck, that Vette aint too shabby, then agian, the guy in the DSM prolly has less than 20grand invested including car compared to the Vettes $$ tag
