I know I've posted a number of threads about me racing in Solo 1 and 2 but nothings ever really convincing without seeing it. Here's pics of my car (the Only Silver SVT) and a bunch of other cars that I'd like to mention were all on my destroy list (Auid S4, he quite early so no real race results between us two, Couple of SR20DET 240's, a Bunch of WRX's and RS's, Turbo and B18swapped Civic's, Integra Type R, BMW 3 series, Ferrari (he babied that Girl)and much more) which I successfully did, some much worse than others, except for the Patriotic looking Datsun 510 (that's my cousins Trailer Race Car, he's the Nissan Fanatic by the way as I mentioned in the past thread on 'Sticking with a 300Z TT') which beat me by the hair on his chinny chin chin. Reason, my front passenger Kuhmo Slicks went south and decreased handling big time until half way through the Race where it ripped to shreds. If you notice in the Pics, you see the Factory Rims front and the Rear passenger is my Street tire on SSR Gt-1 Rims, reason, I blew that slick at a previous event and didn't get a replacement in time for this one so I had no choice but to use 1 of my street tires in the least abused area, the Driver Rear! Result, an unofficial 2nd Place against the cars you seen in the pics and many more, as well as now 2 blown Kuhmo V700 Road Coarse Slicks, that sucks....
In one of the pics you see me passing a Civic. As mentioned in the Review Summary of a close call with a Ford Contour above the pics. What the pic didn't show is how close that car got to creaming me into the rail. Now you might be thinking it looks like a tight race from the pic, actually that's not the case. Actually what happened is She (yes she, damn girls) got flagged to pull into the slower lane to allow the faster car to go around, well the faster car went around her, she maintained her speed in the slower lane. I was about 40yards behind the 2 cars coming around the sweeper onto the straight, I was going quite a bit faster than both cars to start off with especially the Civic that you see in the pic. Well as I'm coming pass her in the Fast Lane she starts merging back into the Fast Lane not realizing I was there, that's when we almost went
CAPOW! Fortunately I was already exceeding 90mph, she was probably about 70-75mph so the speed saved the pass, HOOOOO. The Pic you see shows a second after the pass was made.....
