www.pbase.com It is sort of free. The guy who set it up just wanted to have a site for photographers and hobbyist to show their work. No ads, no pop-ups and crap like that. Right now, there are over 1 MILLION images on pbase. He does accept papypal donations for server support and upgrades. I am a BIG supporter of pbase and if you do decide to sign up, please donate 60 bucks to his site. You can upload all you want and you can link from your site if you want to. It will not show mpegs though.
