Just wondering if anyone has put some pumps and dumps on there ride. I am looking to get this on my tour soon and am looking for suggestions, as I don't know much about hydro's myself. Please respond if you would like to help me out and give me some ideas. THanks in advance. Jared.

All I know is that you will need quite a few batterys....Since you have 4 15"s in your trunk you might not be able to unless you stick them in the back seat. I personally would get air cylinders for a car like this.

I already have 4 yellow tops in my trunk and a redtop starting battery? WHat goes into air cylinders, and where can I find, or who would you recommend that I contact to get more info on this project? Please all replies welcome.

Check out a few of the lowrider sites for more info about the air cyl. I think you only need 1 extra batt. for those. Hydros would need like 4 rows....

be careful with those on the tour.....unless you want the unibody bent..... doin hydros is better for an old school car with a frame (of course reinforced)

FWD and hydraulics is not a good combination. Plus like what Corey said, you are better off with an older car that has a real frame instead of a newer car with an unibody. Other than that, I ask why would you want to do this in the first place? Your car having an identity crisis of some sort?

i would go w/air bag system juss cuz it is way safer for your car and wont break your frame or bend it....my friends run a shop that do hydro's and bags...and i love the bag setup...u can do juss bout anything w/those things ...or you can go a step up from that and get air rods and that will make your car jump as well juss like hydros but are way better than hyrdos

I wouldn't recommend hydros either. Look for some air bags.
If your dead set on switches, what you want your car to do will determine how many batteries, pumps, etc. you'll need. You can get away with as little as two batteries on up.
I hate to say this, but i had switches on my old Cutlass. 8 batteries, 10 switches, 4 pumps, and plenty of moves. Very fun to play with, but i'll never do it again.

Has anybody done this to there Tour yet? Airbags or air rods that is? I'm actually wondering about how much weight this will add to my already 200+ pound stereo in the trunk and rear. Sounds like a plan to me, just need to get more info and I would love pics if someone has them of there Tour with these installed. How do the air bags work, is it just an inflate/deflate type thing, or what? Jared.
