basically you can either have an air compressor already installed or you can fill them up at gas stations...You let the car start and run for like 5-10 min to let the bags fill up and then you can hit a switch and make the front go up and down along with the back....some people even have side to side. If you want to bounce with bags though I think you need at least 4 sets. I would highly suggest the cyclinders for the tour if you are seriously thinking about doing this. Not my cup o tea on cars but whatever you like.

Bad idea to put hydros into a Contour, especially an SVT. I lost a lot of my handling when i had 4 pumps. It wasnt even worth it because I could feel my car just falling apart.
Air bags are the way to go if you get some ride height adjusters. I hopefully will be putting in the Lincoln LS's suspension this winter.

There was this guy from AZ that has a 95 (or 96) tour with hydros, he has a website and all, I think his name is Leo here @CEG. Search for him.

Should I just find my drop shop here in the Seattle area to do this. I don't know of any in my area ... What do you recommend as types of airbags, how many, what types of switches, bags, etc. I really have no knowledge of these components. Any help of custom setups that would be cool to mention of ... ideas? Jared.

Why do you want to put hydros on you Contour? I guess everybody has their preferences. Don't get me wrong I'm in to the whole lowrider scene but it would just look wrong on a Contour. Plus hydros are not good for FWD cars (like stated before). Just my opinion.

 Good luck finding someone with Hydro's. This is the first time I've come across someone wanting Hydro's for a Tour' and on an SVT even worse, I mean you're throwing SPECIAL right out the door! Like some have mentioned it's definately not a good idea, you'll end up driving home in a BenTour' . I hope you realize this will destroy everything and anything the SVT was designed for but than again it is your car. I by the way I hope you're not gonna tell us next you have 13" wire wheels on your SVT or how they would look on our cars, no WIRES on this site. Keep it OLD SCHOOL and you'll do just fine!!!

Here's my car now ... go to http://svtitan.com or here is a nice pic ... I think it would look good with some 3 wheel motion. Just trying to stick unique ... maybe be in a magazine someday after I get my doors to open like a lamborghini. It is all possible guys, I just need to imagine it and get it done.

No offense but...three-wheel motion in a front wheel drive car!! You are out of your mind!! Unless the wheel off the ground is a rear wheel. Which would look retarded. If you have one of your front wheels off the ground and moving, that wheel will just keep on spinning.
You've got the wrong type of car for hydraulics. Its just that simple. If you are annoyed by any rattles in your car at the moment, it will get 10x's worse if you put hydraulics on. I've known two people to put hydraulics on a FWD car. One of them sold their car, they other got rid of the hydraulics altogether.
Contact a shop that sells hydraulics and ask them if putting hydraulics on a FWD car is a good idea. If they tell you differently from what others have said on this site, I will be amazed.
