Anybody out there install the south county polished alluminum intake? I would have thought they would have given some install procedures with something like that . well they did not so I am stumped. They said you don't have to reloacate the battery but it does not seem to fit with the battery there . If anybody knows how to install this let me know please.

I didn't install the one on mine since I bought it with it. But it does fit with the battery. You might need to put the tube down behind the battery and then attach the filter from the bottom side. Hope this helps.

Buckshot77 is correct. Drop the pipe down as far as you can from the top with only the hose adapters clamped on. Assemble the filter and MAF together and attach them from the bottom. Raise the pipe and filter assembly back up into position to clamp the hose to the TB. Attach all vent tubes and electrical connections. Viola!

i just yesterday went purchased a south county polished air intake....i found that south county is outta business!!! another company in tha same auto center is now in the location but continuing the south county bus at least to some degree....

he guy working was more than happy to sell the $200 intake....with the only instructions being 'this goes here, this goes here, u need this..'

and it comes with a fibre foam or something like that filter...will think about installing tomorrow or just wait for weekend

i asked and the new business will not continue to support the contour to the level that south county autosports did, although the guy said they would custom fit a dual exh as he had done for an svt the day before
