Well assuming it has an option of a manual trans and a nice strong engine, I would give it a full 10 !!!

Lease it... DON'T BUY IT.

they lose value faster than a domestic car.

a 2002 Viggen 9-3 saab is about 45,000
a 2000 viggen 9-3 saab is about 27,000

hmmm.....

Nice. Like was said, lease it. With GM financing you should be able to score a good % rate on it. If they have it stick, that is a helluva nice looking car. They go like stink too (I drove a '01 Viggen)... torque steer monster but who cares, it SO much fun! laugh

i give it a solid 10, supposed to house a 220 HP turbo engine, and i think a 5 speed is available. my sister has a 900S 4 door and it is a solid car. not one problem. but breidy is right about resale value. it drops like crazy! she bought her car 2 yrs old with 16k miles for $18k, i think original sticker was $31k.

All those pics are of a 9-5.

9-3= 3-door
9-5= 5-door

Looks SMOKIN'! One of the owners of StreetFlight has a Viggen 9-3. Pretty cool car!

Sweet looking car indeed, but i'm not sure on it's reliability. I worked for a Saab dealership back in the early 90's, and they used to come in with very odd problems with few miles. Just look into it first.

not necessarily! the 93 is available as a 5-door or 3-door or convertible. the 95 is available only as a 4-door (no 5-door hatchback for the newer ones).

the new 93 will be made as a 5-door for its introduction with a new 3-door and convertible coming a few months later. these pics are of the new 93. a new 95 sedan will most likely arrive by the 2004 car season.
