What does the secondary(?) PCV canister do better than the stock filtering system?

Anastazi sells the PCV canister for $30. He put mine in the mail this week.

Rubbermaid dish pan and Hope Depot weatherstriping: $10

Do you think its really important to have 2" OD PVC? I have some 1.5" laying around and I was going to use it.

jcboekel-1.5" will work you will just have to empty more often as it won't hold as much oil.

Demon-is yours metal or PVC? I thought PVC was bad for our cars when it gets hot it realeases a gas that will ruin O2 sensors confused

Is stanzi's metal?
