Hi,

If anyone is curious (like me) these are photos of the inside of a throttle position sensor. I was hoping that cleaning it might cure my "stumbling". Well, it didn't cure the stumble, however it seems a bit smoother/ more silky while transitioning the throttle (in between the stumbles of course! mad ).
Anyway here's the link... TPS I just took a fine blade and carefully separated the walls from the inside "plate" and popped it out, released the return spring, removed the "drum with the fingers" unlocked the little resistor strip retaining clips (3) and removed the resistor strip for cleaning. There doesn't seem to be much of anything that could go wrong with this device. I suspect the "dirt" was my fault for not removing the TPS while cleaning the throttle body.

Stumbling is usually due to bad ignition, so check your wires, plugs, and coil pack.

Great TPS pics, thanks!
