Well it appears that Ford did want my business afterall. Long story short, oops, sorry, we made a mistake you get credit... sorry...

So I got what I wanted. The trade in on Mean Green was less than I wanted they couldn't move much on it. It was fair so I took it. It has already been sold to a guy who bought it for his kid for finishing university. He has CEG's and my info so we may hear from him yet.

This car is slow... no it isn't kind of slow, or just slow compared to Mean Green, it is hella slow... I am not pushing the car at all since it's only got 150kms on the ODO but I can tell it is not going to ever be a race car. At first it felt top heavy, but I noticed as I passed a Blazer that I was sitting as high as him, so I think body roll is a little amplified to the driver. It corners better than the Contour did though, and the brakes are far better, so far I have only activated the Advance Trak once on a gravel road (that gravel pit in the background is my Dad's and I can do whatever I want on that property... just wish he would pave all the roads).

I already have removed the craptory stereo since I took these pics. As an added bonus you get to see my 82 VW, which incidentally is as fast as the ZX5.

















I guess the Corrado will have to wait a few more years...

it looks good though, but im sure you can make it fast cause thats the exact car that JBA broke the record for fastest four cylinder with!!!

Now all you need to do is drop it about 5 inches, slap a huge 747 size wing, add 50 pounds of vinyl lettering and decals, and you got yourself a kick a$$ car.

Just kidding bro, I happen to like the Focus ZX3 & ZX5 models. They have a pretty comfortable ride, OK handling, and most important, Zetec power with potential. Hey, they make much more parts for the Focus the our Contours you know. You'll be taking out Contis and Mystis in no time, you'll see.

5-speed, that's part of the reason it took so long to get here. Nobody orders advance trac and the MTX together... just me. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the only ZX5 exactly like it, at least in Canada.

The ride and handling was what made me give up Mean Green in the first place. It may just be me, but I find this car a much more comfy car than my Tour was, espescially on long trips (The 100km ride here was just nice) As far as handling, it seems more surefooted than the Tour did, but it's two days old so time will tell

yep, you can definitely do so much to that car, its almost as popular as a civic,, welll i take that back its not, but its getting there!

and you do have so much potential in that ZETEC, trust me i have one and it even makes our heavy ass cars fly!!
