On the bright side, I am glad I never did. Driving that car compared to driving the Contour I atually know how poorly it would have been able to do any kind of twisties. 
Do you think it would be much different than doing this to a 94 Grand Am? My girlfriend is buying one for $2000 and I have been seriously thinking about this! I know some of them come with a 3.4L and isn't the 3.8L just a stroked version of the 3.4L? Me and her both want to do this really bad especially since the Bonneville SEEi we were also looking at already got bought. I think that would be a pretty decent sleeper! He He He....240HP Grand Am.....sweet!
