Big deal guys. A work in progress. I don't know but if it's a daily driver and funds are limited. Seems reasonable to get one at a time as you can afford them. Well, Don't put them in until you have both of them. That is just like driving with only two rims in the back, and having the stocks on the front because you can't afford all 4 of them yet. That my friend is ghey.

Don't buy one seat at a time. If so leave it out till the second is bought and ready to be installed at the same time. That's just tacky. RICE RICE RICE!!!!!

Who cares about the rice factor? Go to any local track event (PCA, BMW, etc) and look at the cars.. 98% of them that have racing seats have only 1.. The people that have 2 either have a passenger usually, or were concerned about looks. But some of these seats aren't cheap (Porsche GT3 seats are $2200 *EACH*), so it's function before form.
At least this Probe guy's passengers get to enjoy some confort. If I picked up my date in a car that had racing seats, I don't think she'd be real happy about that.

That Probe has no power. Even on the site it says 164 hp and 160 lb tq. That's no excuse to be functional. What's he going to be doing with one seat that is functional. Either buy two or dont waste your money. As Antonio said you don't by 2 rims just cause that's all you can afford. Think about it.

Maybe the guy has a wife or GF that finds the seat uncomfortabe, so he just got the one. With all the money he spent on customizing that car, it's hard to believe that he could only afford the one.

Okay, I agree with you about this, BUT... 1. I don't see the pictures of him at an autocross. He is taking photos, so the single seat looks dumb. 2. Don't you think his date going to think he looks stupid driving in a red seat while she sits in a biege one?? So again, single seat rule does not apply here.

Two rims is totaly different. I don't think one seat would mess up performace. Mixing stock and after market rims just might do that. Just for the record. I would never just put in one seat.
