Well My tranny went south of you guys haven't heard. I am pretty tight with my money {meaning I don't have any} so I figured me and my brother-In-law could pull it out without a lift. I talked to Terry and he thought it could be done but very difficult and dangerous. He was right but we went ahead and done it anyway. 5 hours later we had the tranny setting out on the floor. I think it took us an hour just to get it high enough on blocks to drop the subframe and engine so we could pull the transmission out. Then we had to put blocks, yes blocks both wooden and concrete in the trunk so the car would stay level otherwise it was going to teader forwards and do a chinese wheelie. Here are the pics. I know it looks dangerous but after it was secured it wasn't that bad.

Would you get under the this car?
