Well I guess the car is out there now. I am currently working on that car as we speak. Have been for the last couple of years. That is prolly the most updated pic of that car. Not bad at all, if you ask me.
Can you fix the awful A6 bloated styling before it gets to the public?
My suggestions:
1) Trim up the nose... it's too tall and too upright. Shorten and cats-eye the lights some, shorten the grille, and mold the hood to have some shape.
2) Get rid of the chrome around the greenhouse. Looks gaudy.
3) Though I can't really see them, the taillights appear to be badly positioned vertically into the rear end. It looks like there will be too much sheet metal between the horizontal trunk element and the light. The taillights need to make the space appear full.
4) Give the car more visual variety. Give it some more muted edges and contours. The car is too many blank expanses of metal as it sits.
5) Most importantly, get rid of the grotesque faux-A6 rear quarter window and C-pillar. Edge the rear door and roofline more (make the roof and the rear window visually separate elements), put in a smaller rear quarter window, then the C-pillar, then fill in the rest of the space with flowing glass from the rear window (which would wrap around and be part of the side and rear views.)
This car just looks too much like the hideous designs VW/Audi have done lately. Or more aptly, it looks like the 90's Oldsmobile 88 squeezed to a shorter length. Be original, and show some taste and aesthetics while you're at it.
