talk about everything being the same these days- all GM interiors arre all the same be it a sub 15K econo car or a 50K "sports car" Actually, the interior is the best part in my opinion, so I obviously disagree with the exception of the cheesy radio and A/C controls. I love how you have to sit down low---lower than the door sills. I also like the sport leather seats with 8 way power adjustment....plenty of lumbar/side bolstering to hold you in place. No sense in arguing though, especially with a guy who builds CUSTOM COBRA REPLICAS for a living. (lucky bastage ) Its ok...a vette will catch more eyes than mean green and get down the road with authority...isn't that what its all about anyway? If I could afford a cobra replica and a daily driver, that's what I'd have. The vette will be the best of both worlds for under $20k.

Hmm??? Wonder how much it'll be. Estimated to be between the Taurus and the Crown Vic...mid twenties.

LOL! Customer relations 101. from : http://www.auto.com/industry/ford28_20020328.htm "People buy the Taurus because it's cheap, not because it's an aspirational vehicle," Twork said. "It's not a quality demographic for Ford; the buyers are less affluent and less educated."

It's a long way off... 2nd quarter 2004 as a 2005 model. However, that's about the time the wife's Sable is set for the stable.
Mercury Mondeo could make it here a year sooner. PAG could do worse than to only bring over the ST220 version (in both saloon and estate variants) as steps towards the LS.
