How EXACTLY do you "crack" your secondaries? I have a non-SVT Duratec engine (1999). What does this do performance wise? Will this effect my engine or anything in any bad way? confused

I'm very satisfied with what this mod does. It it gives a little torque boost to the bottom just off idle. And the response to closing the throttle is more positive.
Ok I adjusted the throttle stop one full turn up as you look at the secondary control (unit with spring wrapped around it under and to the right of the TB) with bellows tube and air box removed.
I haven't messed with it since.

I can only speak for EEC4, but this mod made a BIG difference for my engine. Also, I have other mods which may have complemented/augmented it. I cracked the stop approx. 7/8 of a turn. Best mod in my books when looking at cost vs. benefit.

Anyone know how much you loosen the bolt up to get it back to its original position. I want to take mine back to the stock way for now.

Thanks
