I like the comment but I dont know about the Porsche engine design??!?
Original Duratec design came from Porsche through a Ford contract. Word from a pretty reliable source said it came back to Ford with over 250 hp
But since some of that power came from expensive headwork and the like, Ford detuned it to make it a profitable venture.
So yes, technically you have a Porsche designed engine, but I can't say how much of the original design translated over to the finished product...I'll leave that answer to the people that are more in the know than I.
