hey guys we just came out with a new short shifter for the focus, contour crowd which is a exact copy of the B&M shifter.......im tryin to install it now but have no instructions or anything for it and am only concerned about breaking this clip everyones been talkin about....since i dont really know whats what im not sure where or what the clip is......can someone spare some help? thanks

I have the B&M install instructions in PDF format. It's in my Yahoo briefcase. The clip in question is called the retaining clip in the instructions. It was metal in some early cars but plastic later on.
