No real big secret to keeping that engine bay clean. Every other week, I spray down the engine bay lightly with Armour-All, and wipe it down with a towel. You just have to make sure to wipe it down good, or the residue will attract dust. Once when it got really dirty, I sprayed it down liberally with Simple Green, let it soak for 10 minutes, and sprayed it off with a low pressure garden hose making sure to watch out for all the expensive electrical components, ie. ignition, alternator, coils, etc. I'm also really careful when refilling fluids as not to spill, those make the biggest messes because there hard to remove because the metal will soak them in and weep them out over time, attracting dirt and crap. It's a big pain in the butt, but as the pictures show, it's well worth the effort. Plus it helps living in an area where it isn't very dusty
