I just answered the private email finally! What a coincidence.
We have a bug in the first working module. We are trying to figure out why it is always one-touch opening the roof even if you hold it down for more than a second. It is supposed to one-touch open only if the switch is hit and then let go, like the contours driver window. I hope to have it fixed soon.

Ok, It works!

The first new module is working like it should in the lab. On thanksgiving week I'll test it in the car. If it performs fine there then we will construct the remaining boards and test them. Then I will print up some instructions and we can start sending them out.

Take a look at this, these are pictures of one of the built modules with a quarter to show the scale.

We are very close! I just want to make sure there are no problems with it. That is the way it goes when things are more complicated.

Check out my other projects on my home page with the link in my sig. I'm eager to show off my car audio stuff as well.

warmonger-

wow, double sided board! with back side mounting! talk about $$$$

but you are doing the assembly, right? so that cost goes out the window.

i'm very impressed you'd do all that for such little gain.

jsut curious, where did you get the boards made, and how much did they cost?
what did you do the schematics/layout in?

i like to tinker but i'm not even going to ask for access since i don't have time right now.

i've been following this for a while, just never posted.

looks sweet! cool

"your" is possessive, "you're" is the conjunction that is short for "you are", "there" is for "the dictionary is over THERE", "their" is the possessive one, and "they're" is a conjunction that is short for "they are". have a nice day

That's VERY cool. If I had an alarm I would have done something to make it work with the remote. Probably not like you're doing though. Good job.
