The layout was done ORCAD layout and the circuit was done in ORCAD capture.

The cost of the PC boards is around $15 each plus all the components that go on and the labor to install and test.

cost = $70.00

If interest is good and the first units sell off well, then we'll build another bigger batch. We won't change the price, but we might actually make something for our trouble if we order a larger batch because the cost goes down.
Assuming this goes we will design add on modules to control windows or whatever using the remote and providing 1-touch open.

Oh thought that you were going to have the window module built in so that you can open/close all 3 from the remote.

From a professional PCB manufacturer: Nice work. Double sided board, fine pitch ICs, all surface mount parts. Well, except the connector, but SMD connectors are a pain anyway. Heck, I don't even see any jumper wire. We sell parts to the US Government that don't look that good. Bang up job!

Too bad I don't have a sunroof. :rolleyes:

Grunt, there's an auxiliary output to do what you want. I will work out the details and include it in the instructions when ready. The one-touch open on the windows was never included, only the ability to roll the windows up. If you want them to roll up and down with the remote, then use the auxilliary for the up and you will have to jumper a wire from the output of the down side to your relays. Don't forget that at this point you need two relays for every window that you want to open and close. I am working on fixing that, but it takes time since I am supposed to be studying thermodynamics and computer modeling. wink
Oh, and grading papers and all that b*sh*t as well.

For more elaborate information, follow the sunroof update thread cause I wrote a book in that one already.

Ok, I have tested the new modules, same as the one in the picture.

They work! We have to change one resistor on each module to increase the time allowed for the unlock pulses, but then we are ready to ship. I will print up instructions this week. I expect to be able to mail them out one week from tomorrow. That is a Monday, and just in time for Christmas!

OK, the price is $70.00 and includes everything discussed above.

What I need now is a post from those of you who want one now, and those who are interested.
It is on a first come first serve basis, other than the two individuals who spoke to me already. They are slated for the first two modules. If you want one and have the cash, then PM me with your request and your email. I will then respond and we can set up payment and shipping.
I will have 7 newer small modules for sale, and 2 original larger modules that I will sell for $60.00. That makes a total of 9 modules available. If interest is good then we will invest in a larger batch.

Thank you for your patience and you interest,

warmonger
