Like the console, but the wheels gotta go, EO or E1 wheels look alot better, but that's my opinion.

Thanks for all the comments etc. For those of you wondering, the wheels are 16" focus and are for winter use, as per my sig. I have my E1 rims all tucked away in my basement until spring. I think that the focus wheels are a much better solution than buying steel wheels and running hub caps. I bought them brand new with tires for $ 450.00 (350 + 100 shipping) on ebay. As far as the console goes, I used the bracket from the pre 98 tour. I didn't fabricate one as others have done. All I had to do was cut the existing 2000 bracket. I left the front lower screw holes on the 2000 bezel and now the old (pre98) bracket shares the front two screws with the 2000's. This is tricky to word but hopefully it is understandable. Everything else is gravy. The 2 screws behind the filler are used and the filler goes in place. I also used the 2000 center console cover by making brackets out of wood to make it work. you can see them in the picture. One is to make the hinge work and the other is for the male end of the lock.
Thanks for your comments. Keep em coming!

Thanks for the info.
Would there be any way you could prep one for me? I would compensate you, I just don't have the time to search for a console, nor do I have the workspace to properly paint something.
Email me if your interested.
Thanks again

Actually, I had it painted to match the blue at a body shop. The black I used Black bumber and trim paint. It matched the 2000 black very well and is durable too. I really don't have time to do it for you. Plus they are pretty difficult to find in my area. You should be able to put it in your car in a Saturday. Just find one, have a shop paint it and then put it in!

So what your saying is you cut the underneath part plastic bezel of the stock dash, then used the pre98 console bracket? Do you have any straight on pics?

Whats the colorful piece in the console? Looks like light bright or something. Don't tell me someone came up with mobile light bright? " you know I was gonna put in a mobile DVD system for the kids but I got such a good deal on this instead and the sales guy also said he has a good deal on swamp land in......." Back to the point I like the Foci wheels on the car.

Haa! Those are CD cases that happen to be different colors. But the Light Bright idea is pretty funny. . .
