BTW, I am not a fan of this organized street racing. That's when **** like this happens. I don't mind an occasional drag race at a stop light or whatever, but that is just dumb.

You made no sense. You can't condone one thing and you do the same thing.

Back to the topic...When I go to local street racing scene everyone backs away. Nobody runs if idiots are still on the sides to close. Is this 100% safe?? No, but you will not see idiot movies like this one.

Read off of the site.

Night of the wreck.. Dirty ass road, too narrow, but it was going great till the wreck.. Everyone ended up okay. Everyone walked away from it and only one car was unable to drive home.

IMO if you are stupid enough to even street race like this or attend a street race you deserve getting your car and yourself smashed up. I saw a vid a few years back of the same thing but with muscle cars. A 68 camaro lost control and hit a parked car and killed a little boy of about 8 years old. Think about what you are doing next time you decide to street race. or you could be a real man/woman and take it to the f---ing track.

Thank you, thank you. At least there is one other person on this forum that calls street racing for what it is.

Street racing is what it is. I'll attend a race every chance I get, but you'd have to be crazy to park near the starting line if some rear drive muscle cars are racing. The finish line is much safer because the chances of a car losing traction there are remote unless its a full top-fueler. Also, that road was so narrow that an inexperienced driver would have a tough time staying in their lane at 80mph, let alone dumping the clutch at 4000rpm.

PS. All this talk of women drivers is very disturbing. Join the millenium boys.
