If you change your parking lights/directionals to a white bulb, I would imagine you would be both cop magnet and also way more likely to have ppl not see your directionals, thus making you more prone to getting in an accident...?

Yeah, that was going to be my next question. Is this legal? Or do you need to have orange directional lights?

It isn't legal...but then again neither are most mods that we do to our cars right? Knock on wood...or in this case famica, I've never been pulled over for it. I've been pulled over several times but never for that. I think the only thing you will have to worry about is if your state does inspections. I've never had a problem with people not being able to see my turn signals either...in fact just the opposite; I occasionaly have people tell me they are too bright (usually people I know). In my opinion I think it really cleans up the lines of the Contour. Especially black and silver ones.

I like the way it looks but how can people straight in front of you tell your turning signals are on?

I know that in my car my lights are bright. When I drive at night I can see my turn signals on the road signs and I can see them a little bit on the ground in front me. I never been pulled over for having these lights. When my turn signals are off they look have like a faded yellow look to them and when I turn one on it a very bright white with a bluish color. They look good at night.

The headlight mod IS legal if you install side markers. The law only states you must have a side reflective surface, not what is has to be.

Is this a state-specific law, or is this for the whole country?
