Good point Mark. I was thinking maybe they didn't since the car would sink if you rolled down the windows. Then again if just the front was rolled then it would cause aan air pocket in the rear. That would be why the rear was still sticking out. Then again it might be resting on something in the back. I doubt the driver was snapping the pics since any camera he had would have would not survive the water. I believe the driver escaped. The window would be the first thing I would go for once I heard the ice snap. On top of the fact that I've seen too many movies.

I say forget that crap! I drive a 4000 lb car, never catch my fuzzy butt driving on the ice. Closest I come is driving through the puddles. And those have asphalt underneath them. Maybe I've just been in FL too long.
Words of wisdom... -I'm too old for this sh*t. -Dirty jews have well laundered money.

Reminds me of this show I saw on TLC or Discovery about these HUGE big rigs going across frozen lakes and ice way up north. Anyone else seen that show? It's been a while since I have seen it.

Yea, sure, the guy/girl that was driving that got out alive. Firemen always rescue cars. Talking from personal experience firemen dont do vehicle recoveries. They do body recoveries. I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here and call that a body recovery. Although, I'm sure with that cold water the body was in very good condition.
